From the first note of the provocative soundtrack, assembled exclusively of the music of
Gabrielle Roth & the Mirrors, Portrait of a Radical attempts to draw the viewer into a space where Jesus can be experienced from a different perspective. The soundtrack carries a tribal rhythm which, when fused with the carefully selected imagery, instills within viewers a sense that they are experiencing some of the spirit of the Movement itself.

All of Gabrielle's music is built on percussion from
around the world, layers of rhythms to make your feet dance and your heart sing.
Gabrielle assembles different personnel for each album, many of whom are legends in the worlds of World, Pop and Rock music. The creative process is tribal. Each artist is given the freedom to make a unique contribution to the song developing from the basic rhythm tracks. Often, dancers in the recording studio itself inspire the musicians to keep it "in the feet."
Members of The Mirrors have recorded with such popular artists as Sting, The Talking Heads, Marianne Faithful, Patti Smith, Herbie Hancock, Grace Jones, Miles Davis, and famed drum master, Baba Olatunji.
